Bob Solotaire has remained one of Maine's best painters as well as a favorite 
Portland guy about town for more years than he would want us to divulge here.  
He is still at the top of his form, though this earlier canvas might argue to the contrary.  
Barridoff Galleries handled Bibber's Place more years ago than we care to remember, too;  
and we're proud to offer it now again for the first time�at auction.  Light filled and quintessentially 
Maine and of Maine, it bears witness to his love of this place�as well as perhaps just a bit to 
his once upon a time brother-in-law Stephen Etnier, whose work he greatly admires.
