Still behind glass and in apparently mint condition and its
original gold leaf frame, the Schreyer comes to auction from a San Diego
family. Its composition is typical of the artist but the handling is
particularly refined; and the calmly held and intact tricolor is unusual.
Rarely do canvasses by Schreyer appear at auction in such excellent, untouched
condition.
