Works by Hasemann rarely appear at auction~and none in recent memory of
either the quality or charm of "The New Kittens". It is one of three
European genre oils by three different European artists, one each by a
German, a French, and a Flemish artist, from a single collection, that
of a couple recently retired to Maine.
